61.15 - Alcohol/drugs
Conviction of any federal or state statute may be grounds for denial, suspension, or revocation.
61.19 - Duration of Pilot/instructor certificate
Except for a certificate issued with an exp date, a pilot cert is valid unless surrendered, suspended, or revoked.
61.23 - Medical certificate required
2nd class req for commercial license 3rd class req for private pilot or CFI
61.23 - duration of medical certificate
2nd class - any age - commercial pilot cert - 12th mo after date of exam.
2nd class - over 40 - private pilot/cfi - 24th mo.
61.25- Change of name
Application with airman certificate and other doc verifying the name change.
61.31 - Type rating requirements
Large aircraft
Turbojet powered airplanes
Other aircraft spec by the Administrator through aircraft type procedures
61.51 - Pilot logbooks
- training and aeronautical experience used to meet requirements for a cert, rating, or flight review
- aeronautical experience required for meeting the recent flight experience req.
61.55 - Second-in-command qualifications

1 hr. Flight training and 1 hr. Ground.
24 months - logbook endorsed by cfi
61.57 - Recency of flight experience
- General - no carrying passengers unless 3 takeoffs and landings in last 90 days in aircraft of same category, class, and type
- Night - may not fly 1 hr after sunset to 1 hr before sunrise unless 3 takeoffs and landings to full stop during same time period - same cat, class, and type
61.50 - Change of Address
May not exercise privileges if FAA Airman Certification Branch has not been notified within 30 days
61.133 - Commerical pilot privileges and limitations
- may carry persons or property for compensation or hire
