1. When the flight is conducted in controlled airspace unless: From unmanned to control airspace or vice-versa, crossing an airway or advisory route at right angles, or a local flight.
2. An international flight
3. All flight on an AOC
4. When alerting action is required

Question 2

How long before take-off shall a flight be filed?

Answer 2

For domestic 30 mins
For internation 60mins
In air at least 10 mins before entering controlled airspace
