Rocks and streams all had spirits and they didn’t disturb nature. They also learned from nature in this sense. Today they focus on rituals to connect ancient Japan with modern Japan. They often gave offerings and asked for forgiveness, they constructed the landscape.

They had to give back to the Gods for making them. They had no water or food so they ate each other.
They thought the world ended every 52 years.

They had sets of qualities that they shared with animals and that’s different from. They had masks where they inherited the animals qualities. If you acted a certain way then you would loose a quality.
