Kabba
Kabba, Mecca:
People walk around it as one of the rituals for the 5 pillars of islam. This is called the hajj.
Part of the rutual is that you have to walk around the Kabba 7 times counter clockwise.
Muhammad took part in the reconstruction of the Kaaba after its structure was damaged due to floods around 600 CE.

Ceramic Soldiers

Meant to protect emperor Shihuangdi in the afterlife.
A rebellion happened and they took the weapons to use against the emperor to gain control.
Each figure is unique.
Still haven’t excavated some of it.
Colossal Head
San Lorenzo Mexico. Olmec culture, c.1200-900 BCE
They were created when a leader was elected.
Destroyed when a new leader came to lead.
About 20 tons in weight.
Bloodletting Ritual

Giving blood to the Gods because God gave them their bodies.
The ruler had a whole through their tongue so that they could get blood at any time.
