Procedures for Reporting Exposure Incidents:
Upon exposure, the following precautionary steps, as a minimum, shall be taken:
- Document the exposure on the original Offense Incident Report, if applicable.
- The affected employee shall notify the immediate supervisor of the exposure.
- The employee’s supervisor shall contact Mount Sinai Medical Center, Occupational Health Office or after hours and on weekends, the _______ of the Emergency Room.
