Allusion-
A short informal reference to a significant person, place, event, or idea.
Ex: People who live in cold tundras makes sure that no wild animals breaks in; like what happened last year in Alaska.
Appeals-
Persuasive techniques
Ex: Apple is calling the iPhone X a next big thing with their all edge to edge, O Led screen and facial recognition.
Anaphora-
Repetition of the same word or groups of words at the beginnings of successive clauses.
Ex: All shall reduce waste, all shall reduce smog, all shall reduce destruction to the environment.
Asyndeton-
Deliberate omission of conjunctions between a series of related clauses.
Ex: I bought, I used, I got hurt and burned- Samsung Note 7 customers.
Ethos
Offers the reader evidence that he or she is credible or ethical
Ex: Doctors, Professors, lawyers
Logos
Offers the reader logical ideas and develops the ideas with appropriate reasoning, examples, and/or details.
Ex: Research articles
Pathos
Draws the reader’s emotions so they will be sympathetic
Ex: A dying puppy.
