A

Highest form of law from a traditional view.

‘Sovereignty’ suggests omnipotent, the ability to do anything.

A

‘Supremacy’ connotes a body hierarchically above all others/authority greater than its rivals. Yet not necessarily being constrained.

A

Ø The ‘people’, the constituent power’, the ‘populus’, the ‘polity’, the ‘citizenry’.
Agreement between the sovereign and the people to exercise power.
