Levodopa or non-ergot derived dopamine receptor agonists (prami/rop) or MAOI (B)
Motor symptoms which does not affect QoL
Daytime sleepiness and sudden onset of sleep
Modafinil
- inform DVLA
Nocturnal akinesia
Levo/oral dopamine receptor agonist (1st line) or rotigotine (2nd line)
Postural hypotension
Midodrine (1st line)
Fludro (alt)
Psychotic symptoms
Quet
Clozapine = alt
Rapid eye movement (sleep)
Clonazepam or melatonin
Drooling saliva
Only considered if non-drug approach
- glycopyrronium
- botu tox type A
Parkinson’s dementia
