When parking on a hill, how should your wheels be turned?
So that if the brakes fail, the car will not roll into the street.
When parking facing uphill with a curb, how should your wheels be turned?
Turn your front wheels away from the curb & set the parking brake. If the brakes fail, the vehicle will roll backwards & the front tires will be stopped by the curb.
When parking facing downhill with a curb, how should your wheels be facing?
Turn your wheels into the curb & set the parking brake. If the brakes fail, the vehicle will roll forwards & the front tires will be stopped by the curb.
When parking uphill or downhill with no curb, how should your wheels be facing?
Turn the wheel so the vehicle will roll away from the center of the road if the brakes fail.

Park for a limited time. Look for posted signs for time limits

Park only long enough to pick up/drop off passengers & freight
