A
- Mild pain, or in conjunction with other pain relief (ie. opioids)
- Headache

Paracetamol - contraindications
A
- Children <1 month

Paracetamol - precautions
A
- Risk of hepatoxicity increased in pts with impaired hepatic/liver function, malnourished pts, or elderly/frail pts.
- Hepatoxicity can occur with overdose: nil administration if given within past 4 hours, or if paracetamol intake exceeds 4g (adults) or 60mg/kg (paeds) within 24hrs.

- Haematological reactions
- Hypersensitivity reactions including skin rashes
- Hypotension with IV infusion
