The suffragists (national union of women’s suffrage society) led by Millicent Fawcett in 1897.
What was the WSPU?
The suffragettes (women’s social and political union) led by Emeline and Christabel Pankhurst in 1903.
What was the main difference between the WSPU and the NUWSS?
The WSPU used violent tactics which escalated in order to make their point.
