1918-DAP formed Sept- Hitler joins DAP 1920- renamed to be the Nazi party 1921-becomes party leader Starts the storm troopers>known for violence. 1923- grew to 35,000 members

Rule alone for four years which he did becuase he disagreed with parliamentary democracy
Had to have a 2/3 majority to be passed so Hitler surrounded reichstag with SA.

Minister of propaganda and enlightenment- responsible for spreading Nazi views
Organised attacked on Jews and he was part of the work against the Jews.
