Q

What is the exact content for “Watson”?

A

Dr. Watson is modest. He’s a war veteran, a doctor of acclaim, but he’ll always shy away from the spotlight. He has a keen ear, because of which he excels at anticipating others’ needs. But, he’s super indecisive.

Q

What is the exact content of “Batman?”

A

Batman is… Well… Batman! Best problem-solver in the world. Superman might defeat him once, but Batman will go back to his lair, find kryptonite, and return to defeat him. But he’s so self-reliant and private that many people find it difficult to trust him. Working in a team? No, thanks.

Q

What is the exact content for “Miranda”?

A

Miranda is incredibly demanding, values speed of execution, and is results-oriented. BUT because of that speed of thought and decision, she’s really impatient and throws relationships under the bus in her pursuit of results.

Q

Which part comes after all character profiles?

A

Chaos

27
Q

How do you transition from the character profiles to Chaos?

A

Well… What do you think happens when all four of them are stuck in a room with nowhere to go? Let’s go back and find out.

28
Q

What is the outline of the Chaos part of the speech?

A

Confusion - Split

29
Q

What is the outline of the “Confusion” part?

A

Batman - Batmobile; Miranda - impatient, superhero snark; Watson - Peppermint Latte; Jack - escape story

30
Q

What is the exact content of the “Confusion” part?

A

Batman is trying and failing to break the walls. He’s trying to get his Batmobile, but the impenetrable walls block his comms. Miranda, an icon of the fashion industry, is losing her cool because no one can find a way out. She starts shooting off at Batman - “What’s the point of being a ‘caped superhero’ if you can’t get out of a stupid room? Besides, that all-black makes no fashion sense whatsoever.” Watson starts getting jittery and trying to calm Miranda down, only to be told off - “What point is any of this? I don’t even have my Peppermint Latte to calm me down.” Meanwhile, Jack is narrating his life story. He says Batman should get off the wall and let him try — he’s broken out of plenty of low-level ship decks in his life.

31
Q

What comes after “Confusion”?

A

Split

32
Q

What is the outline of “Split”?

A

Miranda - Watson leave; Jack talks, Batman AirPods pro

33
Q

What is the exact content of “Split”?

A

All this comes to a head, and finally, Miranda loses it. She goes to a different part of the room. Watson goes after her. Jack hangs back, still trying to persuade Batman, who’s turned on noise cancellation on his all-black AirPod Pro’s.

34
Q

What comes after the Chaos part of the body?

A

Order

35
Q

What is the outline of “Order”?

A
  • Batman & Jack

- Miranda & Watson

36
Q

What comes after “split”?

A

Batman & Jack

37
Q

What is the outline of “Batman & Jack”?

A

Batman working alone - Jack exhausts - Batman gives him work

38
Q

What is the exact content of “Batman & Jack”?

A

Batman doesn’t bother using Jack’s services and continues doing his thing. But now, while Jack keeps talking away at Batman, he isn’t annoying anyone because Miranda’s gone. He talks for what feels like Ages. Eventually, he runs out of things to say. Batman notices that Jack’s mouth has stopped moving. He gives his AirPods a long squeeze and notices Jack’s piped down. When he sees Batman look towards him, he jumps up to ask, “what can I do to help?” Batman throws him a couple of snares and tells him exactly what to do.

39
Q

What comes after “Batman & Jack”?

A

Miranda & Watson

40
Q

What is the outline of “Miranda & Watson?”

A

Watson makes coffee - compliment - sit-snap-shoot

41
Q

What is the exact content of “Miranda & Watson?”

A

Meanwhile, Watson’s made Miranda (and himself) a cup of Peppermint Cappuccino. She comments “At least someone in this place seems to have good taste.” His chest swells with pride. He moves to sit at the table with her, but she snaps at him giving him a long list of things that she thinks should be done to get them out of the place. He snaps up and starts getting them done.

42
Q

What part comes after “Order”?

A

Conclusion

43
Q

What part comes after Miranda & Watson?

A

Summary

44
Q

How do you transition from Miranda & Watson to Summary?

A

Eventually, Batman’s logical thinking pairs well with Jack’s need for acceptance. Miranda’s impatient penchant for control finds a good foil in Watson’s empathetic and anticipatory nature. The four of them break out of the room.

45
Q

What is the outline of the Conclusion?

A
  • Summary
  • Characters review
  • Call to action
46
Q

What is the outline of the summary?

A
  • People = one of 4

- leader = counterfoil

47
Q

What is the exact content of the summary?

A

Every day, we come across people who are either a Watson, a Batman, a Jack or a Miranda. To be an effective leader, you mould yourself into the counterfoil that your current counterpart needs.

48

A

Characters review

49

50
Q

A

Jack review

53
Q

What is the outline of jack review?

A

Jack-Batman - talk, feel accepted - work with you

54
Q

What is the exact content of Jack review?

A

If they are a Jack, become their Batman! Let them talk, let them feel comfortable. They love to socialise, so let them feel friendly and accepted. You give them that, and they’ll work with you. You don’t, and they will try even harder to talk just to feel accepted.

If your counterpart is Batman, become their Jack. Allow them time to come up with the perfect solution, while staying out of their way. Offer to help with organised information, but don’t meddle in their affairs.

58
Q

What comes after Batman Review?

A

Miranda Review

59
Q

What is the outline of Miranda Review?

A

Miranda-Watson - summary, allow to lead

60
Q

What is the exact content of the Miranda Review?

A
