-Morphine sulphate 1mg/mL (with NaCl 0.9%)
60: 0.5-3mg
up to every 5minutes

IV continuous
-Morphine sulphate continuos infusion 0-5mL per hour

PCA
-Morphine sulphate 1mg/mL
1mg bolus dose, 5min lockout

Morphine intolerant - alternative?

Oxycodone Hydrochloride (Oxynorm) 5-10mg PO PRN up to 4hrly
(Dose is half oral morphine dose)
