Posterior - latissimus dorsi
Anterior - external oblique
Nerves blocked = intercostal, subcostal, ilioinguinal, iliohyogastric
Tx CRPS
PT, TCAs, Gabapentin, sympathetic blocks, intrathecal meds, spinal cord stim
Respiratory changes with spinal
Dec peak expiratory flow rate
Order of nerve blockade with spinal
Sympathetic –> C –> A-delta –> A-beta –> A-alpha are last
Indications for spinal cord stimulator
Failed back syndrome Post-laminectomy syndrome Refractory angina PVD CRPS type 1
