What are the causes of Clubfoot deformity?
A
Idiopathic, but there is a genetic link

Describe the deformities in clubfoot deformity
A
FOUR deformities:
- Midfoot Cavus = meaning it is concave/curled.
- Forefoot Adductus =meaning it is distorted towards midline.
- Hindfoot Varus = meaning it is laterally displaced and curved to displace the distal part medially (like genu varus)
- Hindfoot Equinus = the foot is relatively plantarflexed and dorsiflexion is
limited.
Mnemonic to remember is “CAVE” deformity
