in Mechanically ventilated, patient on Dexmedetomidine had improved coma free days, and time within goal level of sedation but required more fentanyl and had more incidence of bradycardia.

in Mechanically ventilated, patient on Dexmedetomidine was equivalent to Midazolam in achieving sedation goals. But Dexmedetomidine had reduced ICU delirium and duration of mechanical ventilation
