• Infared radiator cooks food in a grill or oven. Infared can heat you by transferring energy into a thermal store
• Lasers in CDs DVDs and Blue Ray Discs use visible light

-Ultraviolet helps produce vitamin D, which is needed for strong bones
Ultraviolet radiation kills bacterial in water (sterilises it)

• X-Rays can kill skin cancer and other cancer cells
• Gamma rays can kill cancer cells and kill bacteria of food
