  1. PET’s spatial resolution typically falls somewhere between that of fMRI and MEG/EEG. In addition, PET has very low temporal resolution (tens of seconds to minutes)
  2. it shows the (blood) activity in certain brain areas.
    Can detect cancer really good because there is a high metabolism. Can also be used to visualize the use of certain Neurtransmitters:
