What is resistance of a circuit?
A
The way of measuring how hard it is for the electricity to flow

How do filament lamps create resistance?
A
They heat on p when used, a higher potential difference makes them hotter and as they get hotter the resistance increases

How do diodes create resistance?
A
The conduct electricity in one direction only, if potential differed is applied in the other direction no charge will flow

How does a LDR (light dependent resistor) create resistance?
A
The resistance is large in the dark and gets less as it becomes lighter

How does a thermistor create resistance ?
A
They have a high resistance when cold and there resistance decreases as they heat up
