What is the definition of physical health and well being?
all body systems working well, being free from illness and injury with the ability to carry out every day tasks
What does exercising do to physical health?
Improves components of fitnesses, blood pressure decreases, bones get stronger, reduces obesity
What can exercise do to physical health?
Prevents high blood pressure, reduces strokes. Prevent obesity
What is the definition of mental health and well being?
A state of well-being in which every individual realises his/her own potential
What can exercise do to mental health?
Increase self esteem and confidence, feel better about yourself, relieve stress. Feel good hormones like serotonin
What is the definition of social health and well being?
being able to interact with a range of people and having a sense of belonging
What can exercise do to social health?
Make friends in sport clubs

What is a sedentary lifestyle?
A sedentary lifestyle is one where there is irregular or no physical activity
