What is the definition of the keywords climate?
A
- Climate is the average weather condition of a certain place, generally measured over 30 years -> constant feature
- What people have come to expect to happen (e.g. warmer in spain than in norway)

Why is a climate graph usefull?
A
Tells you what weather to expect in a certain place in a particular month, based on the average weather of the last 30 years.

What are the 4 rules of the cliamte graph?
A
- On the x-axis are the months of the year – from January until December.
- There are two y-axes: one on the left of the graph and one on the right. These will show temperature (in °C) and precipitation/rainfall (in mm).
- The temperature is always represented by a graph line. It can happen that there are two lines, which means there is a maximum and minimum temperature – maximum will be during the day, minimum during the night.
- Precipitation is always represented by a bar graph.

Why are the last two rules of a climate graph important?
A
In black and white you’re still able to tell which one represents temperature and which shows precipitation.
