A white “cockpit oxy” indication is shown on the SD when the crew supply pushbutton is pressed. This information comes from the distribution manifold.

It provides a supply of 100% O2.
What happens when the Emergency mode is activated on the front face of the crew quick donning mask?
It causes a High-Pressure flow into the quick donning mask.
When are PAX oxygen masks automatically deployed?
PAX oxygen masks are automatically deployed when the cabin depressurizes and the aircraft altitude is over 14,000 ft.
How can PAX oxygen masks be deployed manually?
PAX oxygen masks can be deployed manually using the oxygen panel in the cockpit or the manual release tool.
Where are the oxygen cylinders for the optional PAX Oxygen system installed, and how is the system monitored?
The oxygen cylinders are installed on the right-hand side of the forward cargo bay. The system is monitored by a Quantity Calculation Control Unit (QCCU) and is displayed on the DOOR SD page.
What indication is shown on the SD when crew oxygen is below 1,500 psi?
An amber half box is displayed on the SD for information.
How can you tell if a PAX oxy generator has discharged?
The colour indicator on the PAX oxy generator will be black if it has discharged.
What does the OXY ON flag indicate after stowing the quick donning mask?
The OXY ON flag indicates that the piston valve has remained open, the flexible hose is still pressurized, and the microphone is on.
How long do PAX chemical oxygen generators provide oxygen?
PAX chemical oxygen generators provide oxygen for 15 minutes.
