Q

What happens following a meal?

A

-Insulin increase
-Insulin to glucagon ratio increases
-Insulin
=Activates triacylglycerol synthesis because activates acetyl-CoA carboxylase and inhibits triacylglycerol lipase
=promotes glycogen synthesis by activating glycogen synthase and inhibits glycogen phosphorylase
