Describe the ‘working self’?
A
A cognitive structure. Involves conceptions about self and current set of active goals (goal hierarchy). The working self manages the construction and retrieval of AMs.

What are autobiographical memories?
A
They are considered to be the database of the self. They give continuity to experience and help us to integrate with others. They offer a personal historical context of who we are now.
