Each team retains the ball during a possession until it scores or fails to make a 1st down. Ball remains live after a change of possession until it is declared dead. Team A may not have a 1st and 10 if it again possesses the ball after a change of possession.

Beginning with the 3rd extra period teams scoring touchdowns must attempt a 2-pt try.

Each team shall be allowed 1 timeout for each extra period. Timeouts do not carry over.

Penalties against either team are declined by rule. A score by a team committing foul during the down is canceled.
