Lower abdominal Pain
Nausea
Vomting
Pelvic Exam has limited sensitivity - may include adenexal tenderness and adenexal asymmetry
Imaging
BHcG
POCUS: evaluate for free fluid
Pelvic Ultrasound with Doppler (74-80% sensitive and 95% specific)
Ovarian Cysts with worrisome features
large, solid, septated, or diagnosed in a postmenopausal female
Management: Ovarian Torsion
Urgent surgical detorsion
Admission
Management: Unstable Ruptured Ovarian Cyst
Urgent Gyn consult
Management: Stable Ruptured Ovarian Cyst
Supportive management
