Endometriomas TRIAD
dysmenorrhea, menorrhagia, dyspareuria
Dx acute unilateral Low R side sharp pain, vomit, fever, WBC elevations
ovarian torsion
Dx criteria of PCOS
must have 2 of the following:
- polycycystic ovaires
- signs of androgen excess, acne, hirsutism, hair loss
- menstrual irregularities
Estrogen secreting tumor
Thecoma (stromal)
Androgen secreting tumors
Luteoma of pregnancy
Hilus Cell stromal tumore
Classic presentation: obeses, nullparous, infertile, HTN, DM, white women who has post menopausal bleeding
Uterine CA
ectopic pregnancy TRIAD
pelvic pain
vag bleeding
tender mass
+HCG
Dx: Menorrhagia, irregular enlarged uterus
Leiomyoma (Fibroids)
Dx: Pelvic pain, bloating, increased girth, early satiety, vague GI sx
Ovarian Torsion
Dx: Oligomenorrhea, hirsutism, infertility, obesity
PCOS
Dx: Pelvic pain, fever, N/V, Rebound tenderness, very tender mass
Tubo-ovarian abscess
