Tumour w/ peritoneal implantation outwith the pelvis or involved small bowel, retroperitoneal or inguinal nodes
Stage II
Tumour w/ pelvic extension only
Stage Ia
Tumour confined to one ovary
Stage Ib
Tumour confined to both ovaries
Stage Ic
Tumour stage I but with capsule ruptured or malignant ascites
Management of epithelial ovarian cancer
Surgery
- midline incision
- total abd. hysterectomy
- bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy
- omentectomy
- multiple peritoneal biopsies and washings
Which lymph nodes are sampling?
Para-aortic and pelvic regions
1st Line chemotherapy
Platinum and taxane
