While the framework of Te Huringa o Te Tai will be used to deliver nationally-led programmes and initiatives, it is essential for our long-term success that local Te Huringa o Te Tai action plans are developed and
implemented in partnership with Iwi Māori based on the specific needs, and values of local communities.
