CLINICAL FEATURES
Presentation
A
- Patient <40 years with unilateral or bilateral
- Hearing loss
- Tinnitus
- Usually affects lower pitched sounds

CLINICAL FEATURES
Examination results
A
- Otoscopy
- Normal
- Weber’s test
- Normal if bilateral, if unilateral sound is louder in more affected ear
- Rinne’s test
- Shows conductive hearing loss of the affected ear
