Presentation
A
- 40-50 years old presenting with unilateral episodes of vertigo, hearing loss and tinnitus
- Vertigo in episodes lasting 20 mins
- Hearing loss fluctuates at first, then gradually becoming permanent
- Tinnitus initially occurs with episodes of vertigo before becoming more permanent

PATHOPHYSIOLOGY
A
Excessive build up of endolymph in the labyrinth of innner ear, causing higher pressures than normal and disrupting sensory signals
Increased pressure is called endolymphatic hydrops
