Otoscopy: Retracted eardrum, air bubbles, lack of light reflex, unusual colour of drum (yellow, blue amber)
Conductive hearing loss

A
Tympanogram: flat type B tracing normal canal volume
Pure tone audiogram: conductive hearing loss

Management
A
Conservative - most settle in 3 months
Hearing aid
Surgery - Grommets placement.
