A
- god is one but exists as three beings.
god the father, god the sun and god the holy spirit.

A
- makes it possible to say that jesus is god and can be worshiped
- helps catholics understand god’s role = father - lets them see god as creator, son - shows god’s love, holy spirit- god’s presence on earth.

- jesus ascension = “ go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit.
- jesus baptism = all three persons of the holy spirit were present at jesus’ baptism.

- it allows humans to see how god is, since he was incarnate
- it shows gods love as he sent humanity his son
- before the incarnation it was impossible to have a full relationship with god as there was sin.

- jesus taught the golden rule- do to others as you would want them to do to you
- jesus taught the disciples to love- a new commandment i give to you; love one another as i have loved you.
- jesus spent his time with sinners, jesus is an example to people as he shows that god will always forgive those who sin.

- thomas aquinas - he said that every human knows what is right and what is wrong because god put a moral law within every person’s heart.

A
he said that it is the “mind of humans beings making moral decisions”.

A
- they are moral habits in which humans practise to become good people.

A
there is no reference to conscience in the tanakh. but they believe that it is a small voice that guides actions but the torah is the loud voice that directs actions.
