Na: increases BP
Mg: lowers BP, diarrhoea, burping
Ca: constipation, burping, flatulence
Al: constipation
PPIs (esomeprazole, pantoprazole)
- generally well tolerated
- abdominal discomfort
- diarrhoea
- nausea
- headache
Triptans (sumatriptan)
- dizziness
- flushing of the face
- cardiac events (more likely in patients with CV disease history)
Metoclopramide
- dizziness
- drowsiness
- restlessness
Mebendazole
- stomach upset
- headache
Pyrantel
- stomach upset
- headache
Azoles (clotrimazole, miconazole)
- generally well tolerated
- local irritation to the lesion
Terbinafine
- generally well tolerated
- local irritation to the lesion
