In the UK when should you consider risk of fragility fracture?
A
Age 65 in women, age 75 in men (or earlier if risk factors)

When do you not use a fracture calculator in the UK?
A
Under 40 (when assessing someone with a major risk factor) - not enough data in this age group, go straight to BMD

First line bisphosphonate in the UK?
A
Alendronate. Only use risedronate or etidronate if the patient cannot comply with instructions or is intolerant of the drug
