it is the movement of molecules from a region of higher concentration to a region of lower concentration.

A
It is the movement of water molecules from a region of higher water potential to a region of lower water potential through a partially permeable membrane.

Can Starch pass through a Visking tubing?
A
No. It is too large to pass through the Visking Tubing.

How does water enter the roots?
A
The soil has a higher concentration of water than the root hair cells. Therefore water enters the roots through Osmosis.
