A

SCI pts w/ functional C4 with C5 return or functional C5 quadriplegia are appropriate candidates

Active wrist extensors provide grasp and gravity assisted wrist flexion enables the patient to open their hand

A

Pt with paralysis or severe weakness of the hand

Pts with functional level of C5 with some C6 return( wrist extension), C6 and C7 quadriplegia
