Taken from airplane DIRECTLY ABOVE area. You can only see the tops of things.

Taken from an airplane at an ANGLE! You can see sides of buildings, trees, mountains, Sky etc.

- scale of 1:10 000
- Streets, buildings, rivers etc. are labeled
- Vertical Arial Photograph
- Shows height using contour lines and spot heights
- Rectifies distortion on a vertical Arial photograph

A
Places where exact spot of height is known. Marked with dots. Hight in meters is next to the dot.

Marked at 5m intervals. Give height above sea level. Show river valleys, hills, Spurs and other natural features.
