Q

What is an ortolani test

A

It tests to attempt to subluxate the hip joint
A clunk is a positive test and it is when the femoral head is falling back into the acetabulum

Q

What is a femoral head and neck ostectomy

A

Q

What is osteochondrosis dissecans

A

Development of cartilage flap to joint cartilage over a bone
The flap creates an inflammatory response and can be torn away
Should joint commonly affected but can be seen in elbows knees and ankles too

17
Q

What is osteochondrosis common in

A

Fast growing breeds
More common in males
