What are the main causes of childhood limp in toddlers, children, teenagers?

A
  • toddlers fracture
  • child maltreatment
  • Perthes disease degenerative condition of hip joints due to avascular necrosis of femoral head, this causes bone infarction, symptoms hip pain, stiffness, management is keep femoral head with cast/brace, observation if <6 years, surgical management if deformities or >6 years.
  • Osgood Schlatter disease
  • Slipper upper femoral epiphysis
  • septic arthritis
  • osteomyelitis
