Thomas’, scouring, Trendelenburg, fabers
Positive sign for fabers?
Increased hip or groin pain indicates hip pathology
Increased SIJ pain indicates sacroiliac joint pathology
Positive sign for souring test?
Pain or grating in the hip joint
Positive signs Thomas test?
Hip or thigh of the non flexed limb elevates off the table indicating flexor tightness or flexion deformity
Positive sign gaenslens?
Increased pain from the pelvis
Positive sign Fortins finger test?
Pain medial to the posterior inferior sacroiliac spine
Positive sign prone knee bend?
SIJ pain or limbosacral region
Slump test positive sign
Reduced pain when the cervical flexion is released
Straight leg raise positive sign
Reproduces pain and other abnormal sensation
Positive sign kemps?
Pain radiates down the leg indicating facet syndrome or lumbar pathology
Normal ROM at the lumbar spine?
60 flexion
35 extension
30 lateral flexion
