A

  • SPIN & SNOUT
  • Pt sidelying on good side; affected limb is passively extended, abducted, and ER while an anterior force is applied to posterior GT
  • POS= ant. hip pain

Ligamentum Teres Test

A
  • HIP INSTABILITY
  • SPIN & SNOUT
  • Pt supine w/ hip approx 70 deg hip flexion, 30 deg < full abd; passively IR and ER rotate through full ROM
  • POS= pain either way
    ***staying out of end range of FLEX/ABD keeps capsular ligaments out of the way

  • flexion (less than regular FADIR), IR and slight Add followed by axial compression towards the floor
  • POS= click, pop, pain?
