Q

strength of rutter

A

real world application:
- can help improve conditions for children growing up outside their family homes
- helped improve psychologists understanding of the effects ad how to prevent them now
- led to improvements in the conditions experienced by looked after children
- for example childrens homes now avoid having large numbers of caregivers for each child, instead they have 1-2 key workers who play an essential role in their emotional care
- giving children a chance to develop normal attachments
