16
Q

Acquired cleft palate treatment

A

Often amenable to surgical repair
First attempt has highest chance of success
Repair quickly in first few days after injury

Usually occurs due to severe periodontal disease or tooth extraction

Acute fistula (during dental extraction) nasal bleeding or visualisation of the nasal cavity

19
Q

A

Abnormal prehension of food
Blood tinged saliva
Difficulty swallowing
Ulceration
Halitosis

20
Q
