Q

Why is the scientist method unreliable?

A

Theories have been disproven before (such as flat earth). The bible is consistent in contrast to it.

Q

What is an abundance of elements?

A

The large amount of hydrogen in the universe is exactly the suspected amount which would have caused the Big Bang

Q

What is red light shift?

A

Red light is the measurement of distance between galaxies and shows us that galaxies are moving apart, suggesting the universe is expanding. This means the universe is expanding from a contained point from some point in the universe’s past (the Big Bang)

Q

What is cosmic background radiation?

A

It is the left behind energy suspected to be from the Big Bang. It acts like the static on the tv as it is always there even if we don’t see it

Q

What is the Big Bang?

A

The Big Bang is the scientific theory for the universe’s creation. It suggests that in the beginning a single point of density known as a singularity expanded until it became the universe we know. It happened 13.7 billion years ago.

Q

What was created within the six days god created the universe?

A

Day 1- Night and day
Day 2- Sky and ocean
Day 3- Plants
Day 4- Moon and sun
Day 5- birds and fish
Day 6- Humans and land animals

17
Q

How do we know that the Big Bang and Christian response can fit together?

A

The person who created the Big Bang theory was a catholic priest

18
Q

What is a literal Christian?

A

They believe the bible word for word, exactly as it is. They do not believe in anything that is not in the bible.

19
Q

What is a liberal Christian?

A

They take the bible symbolically and believe it can mix with other beliefs that are not within it
