O: inner lip of iliac crest; iliolumbar ligament
I: rib 12, apices of TP of L1-L4, occasionally vertebral body T12
Obliquus Externus Abdominis
O: ribs 5-12
I: anterior 1/2 outer lip iliac crest, iliac fascia, aponeurosis from 9th costal cartilage to ASIS
Obliquus Internus Abdominis
O: thoracolumbar fascia, lateral 2/3 upper inguinal ligament, anterior 2/3 of intermediate line of iliac crest
I: inferior border and cartilages rib 9-12; abdominal aponeurosis; cartilages of ribs 7-9; crest and pecten pubis
Transverse Abdominis
O:lateral 1/3 inguinal ligament, anterior 2/3 inner lip iliac crest, thoracolumbar fascia, costal cartilages ribs 7-12
I: crest and pectin pubis via aponeurosis, linea alba
Rectus Abdominis
O: lateral: pubis (tubercle on crest and pecten pubis; medial: ligaments covering front of symphysis pubis
I: costal cartilages ribs 5-7, xiphoid process, costoxiphoid ligaments
Rotatores Lumborum
Lies dep to multifidi and cannot be readily seperated
Interspinales Lumborum
O: superior SP L2-L5
I: inferior surface SP of vertebra above
