position infants head to the side. insert syringe in the mouth between the gums and the cheek. dont insert it straight back into the throat
position for sleep
infant should be placed on their back, firm mattress, no loose objects in the bed.

How do nurses in the hospital prevent infant abduction?
They should wear picture identification. Teach parents to only allow staff to transport the baby. Transport baby in their crib. Alert hospital security of anything suspicious.
How do nurses prevent infection in nurseries with many babies
hand washing, good hygiene, every infant has their own supplies.
How do nurses care for an infant boy who was circumcised by a Gomco clamp?
squeeze petroleum jelly on the circumcision site to prevent the diaper from sticking to it and also a small piece of gauze may be placed over the site.
