what is an Organ?
A group of different tissues that work together to do a particular job inside one part of the body. They put into Organs systems and work together to keep the body functioning!
what are the layers of organisation?
These parts are divided into levels of organization. There are five levels:
Organelles - tiny structures which carry out various functions within a cell.
Cells - the basic unit of all living organisms.
Tissues - groups of similar cells that work together to perform a specific function. For example, brain tissue, muscle tissue and heart tissue.
Organs - different tissues working together to carry out a particular function.
Organ system - a group of organs that work together to do a job.
what does the brain do
The brain controls our thoughts, memory the movement of our arms and legs and our feelings. The central nervous system is composed of the brain and spinal cord.
what does the heart do?
The heart pumps blood around the body.The blood provides your body with the oxygen and nutrients it needs. It also carries away waste. Your heart is sort of like a pump, or two pumps in one.
what is the purpose of the lungs?
The lungs bring oxygen into the blood removes the carbon dioxide from it
what does the stomach do?
The stomach helps to digest food.temporary storage of food and liquids.

emptying the mixture into your small intestine.
what does the intestines?
The intestines absorb nutrients from food.
what does the liver do?
The liver removes poisons from the blood.
what does the kidney do?
The kidneys filter blood and produce urine.
what does the bladder do?
The bladder stores urine.
what does the skin do around your organs?
he skin protects and contains the other organs.
what does the The circulatory system do?
The circulatory system includes the heart, veins and arteries. Its function is to transport substances in the blood, around the body.
what does The respiratory system do?
The respiratory system includes the nose and the lungs. It takes in oxygen and removes carbon dioxide.
what does the digestive system do?
The digestive system includes the stomach and intestines. It breaks down food and absorbs nutrients.
what does The reproductive system do?
Its function is to create an offspring
