List TJAG responsibilities
Developing claims policies and procedures.
Directing the training of legal personnel and claims policies and procedures.
Ensuring legal offices and personnel have adequate resources to establish and administer a vigorous Air Force claims program.
Denying or approving claims against the Air Force as appropriate.
List primary responsibilities for JACC.
Overseeing and providing authority of guidance on processing the claims worldwide.
Conducting claims training.
Coordinating, as appropriate, with department of justice, department of defense, and other government agencies on claims.

Ensuring all potential medical cost reimbursement program (MCRP) claims are fully investigated, research, and vigorously pursued until collected and or resolved.
Establishing installation claims jurisdiction.
Managing the web based Armed Forces claims information management system (webAFCIMS).
List base SJA responsibilities
Maintaining a vigorous claims program to identify and assert claims against tortfeasors for damage of Air Force real and personal property that occurs within their AOR.
Investigating and taking final action on all tort claims within their AOR alleging only property damage where the amount claimed is within their settlement authority.
Forwarding all other claims, including claims alleging medical malpractice to JACC within 72 hours of receipt.
Promptly notifying JACC of incidents having significant potential tort liability or adverse publicity. (JACE will be notified of environmental incidents).
Conducting investigations into all environmental tort claims within their AOR, as a sign by JACC, and take final action on claims were the amount claimed as within their settlement authority.
Assisting JACC with claims investigations, as requested.
Insurance claims under article 139, UCMJ, are process, investigated, and resolved.
Less responsibilities of paralegals
Inspect the property.
Interview claimants.
Conduct investigations.
Assemble and maintain files.
Make a recommendation regarding approval and denials.
Maintain claims records.
Review reports in webAFCIMS.
